To run the LinkedIn steps of your campaigns, connect your LinkedIn account by signing in to LinkedIn from Overloop AI. You can connect one LinkedIn account per user.
Connect your LinkedIn account
Go to Settings > LinkedIn accounts and click Connect LinkedIn Account at the top right.
Click Continue.
Sign in with your LinkedIn email and password.
Back in Overloop AI, wait a few seconds until your account shows as connected.
If you sign in to LinkedIn with Google or Apple
LinkedIn does not let Overloop AI connect an account through a Google or Apple sign-in, so your LinkedIn account needs a password of its own. In the connection window, click I sign in to LinkedIn with Google or Apple: the window then shows you, step by step, how to create a password on LinkedIn, and Open Forgot password opens LinkedIn's page to do it. Your Google or Apple sign-in keeps working.
Reconnect your account
When your LinkedIn account needs to be reconnected, the button at the top right of Settings > LinkedIn accounts reads Re-authenticate with LinkedIn. Click it and sign in again. Reconnecting keeps the same account: the LinkedIn steps that stopped while it was in error start again on their own.
If reconnecting doesn't work, the connection window says why:
You signed in to a different LinkedIn profile: sign in with the profile that was connected. To use another profile, disconnect the account first, then connect the new one.
This LinkedIn profile is already connected to another Overloop AI user: disconnect it from that user first, then try again.
LinkedIn did not accept the sign-in: check your LinkedIn email and password.
Disconnect your account
While your account works, click Disconnect LinkedIn Account at the top right of Settings > LinkedIn accounts. Campaigns sending from this account stop.
When the account needs to be reconnected, that button is replaced: click the three dots at the end of the account's row, then Disconnect LinkedIn Account.
Admins can also disconnect a teammate's account: click All at the top right to see every account, then use the three dots on its row.
