Overloop can notify you about recent activity on your account and your prospects’ interactions.
Types of Notifications
You can choose how you want to be notified:
In-app → shown as a red badge on the 🔔 bell icon in your navigation bar.
Browser → shown as desktop push notifications when you’re not active in Overloop.
Email → sent to the email you use to log in.
Slack → sent directly to a Slack channel or as a private message (requires Slack integration).
Enable Notifications
Go to Settings > Notifications.
Check the activity types you want to be alerted about.
Select your preferred notification channels.
Switch ON the browser toggle and click Allow notifications.
If the pop-up doesn’t appear, click the lock icon 🔒 in your browser’s URL bar and adjust notification permissions.
Supported browsers: Chrome, Edge, Firefox, Opera.
Not supported: Safari, Internet Explorer, mobile browsers.
Slack Notifications
To receive alerts in Slack:
Switch ON the Slack toggle and click Connect Slack.
Sign in to your Slack account.
Map Overloop users to Slack users.
Return to Settings > Notifications and select which events should trigger Slack alerts.
