Starting a Campaign

Learn how to launch your campaign, understand Autopilot options, and manage messages awaiting approval.

Starting a Campaign

To start sending messages from your campaign, there are two settings to understand: Campaign is running and Autopilot.

1. Campaign is Running

The campaign is running toggle determines whether your campaign is active. When switched on, the campaign can process prospects according to your settings. When switched off, the campaign remains paused.

Note: You can turn a campaign on or off directly from the My Campaigns page.

The campaign is running toggle is also available from within the campaign dashboard.

2. Full Autopilot

The Enable Autopilot option allows Overloop to automatically approve and send messages for future prospects without requiring manual review.

When enabled, new prospects entering the campaign will have their messages approved and sent automatically.

Note: Once enabled, the campaign will indicate that Autopilot is active and messages will be sent automatically.

When enabling Autopilot for the first time, Overloop displays a confirmation window explaining what will happen to current and future messages.

3. To Review

If Full Autopilot is not enabled, generated messages will appear in the To Review tab.

Before messages can be sent, you must review them and click Approve and Send.

Tip: You can enable Autopilot directly from the To Review screen if you no longer want to manually approve messages.

4. Follow-up Autopilot

Campaign Settings also include a Follow-up Autopilot option, which is enabled by default.

This setting only applies to follow-up messages after the initial message has been approved and sent.

Unlike Full Autopilot, it does not automatically approve or send the first message for new prospects.

If full Autopilot is disabled, you'll still need to approve the first message manually.

Once it has been sent, Follow-up Autopilot can automatically send the remaining follow-up messages.
