How Prospect Enrollment Works

Written by Ivory Gapas

When you launch a campaign, Overloop may estimate a large pool of eligible prospects. However, these prospects are not enrolled into your campaign all at once.

Instead, Overloop gradually adds prospects over time based on your campaign's sending capacity and deliverability settings.

Why do I only see 10 prospects at first?

In many cases, a newly launched campaign may initially enroll only a small number of prospects (for example, 10 prospects on the first day).

This is expected behavior and helps ensure a smooth ramp-up while giving you time to review your campaign and prospect quality.

Example: Although 1,289 prospects match the sourcing criteria, only 10 prospects can be sourced today based on the campaign's current outbound capacity.

The remaining prospects have not been lost. They remain eligible and will automatically be enrolled as sending capacity becomes available. You do not need to re-import, recover, or manually enroll them.

What determines how many prospects are enrolled each day?

The number of prospects added to your campaign is recalculated regularly and depends on several factors, including:

  • The number of connected email accounts

  • Whether your campaign includes LinkedIn actions

  • The Smart Limits configured for your email accounts

  • LinkedIn Smart Limits

  • The number of follow-up emails in your sequence

  • Delays between campaign steps

  • The number of active campaigns using the same sending accounts

  • Your overall daily sending capacity

Because these factors can change over time, the number of prospects enrolled each day may increase or decrease.

Additionally, Smart Limits may gradually increase over time as your sending accounts build a positive sending history. This can allow larger batches of prospects to be enrolled automatically in the following days or weeks.
