LinkedIn is very strict with automation limits, so Smart Limits automatically define your daily LinkedIn action caps (like profile visits, connection requests, and messages) and gradually adjust over time, helping you scale outreach without risking warnings or restrictions.
How LinkedIn Smart Limits work
Newly connected LinkedIn accounts start with conservative limits (5 actions per type per day) to warm up activity safely.
Limits increase gradually over time.
Your maximum daily actions depend on your LinkedIn subscription type (Free vs Premium).
How to View Your LinkedIn Limits
Go to Settings > LinkedIn account.
Click on your account name or use Actions > Edit to view today’s action count and current limits.
If you want more control, you can disable Use Smart Limits and set limits manually.
Keep in mind: This increases the risk of LinkedIn flagging your account. We strongly recommend leaving Smart Limits enabled unless you’re confident your outreach volumes stay within safe ranges.

Daily caps depend on your LinkedIn plan:
Because LinkedIn caps are stricter than email, LinkedIn is often the bottleneck in multichannel campaigns.
Tip: Run a mix of multichannel campaigns (for warm, personal outreach) and email-only campaigns (for higher volume).
