You can find your current limits and today’s action count in Settings > LinkedIn account. To view the details, click on your account name or use the Actions > Edit button on the right.

Newly connected accounts begin with conservative limits (5 actions per type/day) to help gradually warm up your LinkedIn activity. The maximum limits depend on your LinkedIn subscription:

If you prefer more control, you can set limits manually by switching off the Use Smart Limits toggle. Keep in mind that doing so may increase the risk of LinkedIn flagging your account, so we strongly recommend leaving Smart Limits enabled unless you’re confident in your outreach volumes.

Why LinkedIn Smart Limits Matter

Unlike email, LinkedIn has stricter daily limits for connection requests, messages, and profile visits (starting at around 15**/**day). In contrast with email accounts where you can connect multiple per person—it’s impossible to have more than one LinkedIn account per individual. This means LinkedIn can quickly become the bottleneck in a multichannel campaign.

A campaign that includes LinkedIn steps will move slower, as LinkedIn typically allows only up to 25–29 connection requests per day. This means your campaign throughput will usually be lower when LinkedIn actions are included. It’s not a bug, it’s LinkedIn’s safety mechanism, and Smart Limits help you stay within it.

Tip: To balance safety and volume, we recommend running a mix of campaigns: some with LinkedIn steps (for warmer, personal outreach) and others that are email-only (for higher sending capacity).
