A good outbound strategy involves testing, iterating, and knowing how your efforts are working. Overloop gives you tools and reports to measure key metrics and campaign performance.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

You can track several core metrics to understand how your outreach is performing:

  • Opens – Are prospects opening your emails?

  • Clicks – Do they click the links you send?

  • Replies – How many prospects reply to your emails?

  • Page Visits – Do prospects visit your website pages you’re tracking?

Reporting Types

Overloop offers two main kinds of reports so you can measure both overall activity and specific campaign success:

1. Overall Reporting

Access these metrics for your entire account via the Reports section. You’ll find tabs like Account Activity and Outbound.

A. Outbound reporting includes funnels and graphs. Compare up to 5 campaigns side by side. Available reports include:

  • Replies Funnel: contacted > opened > replied

  • Visits Funnel: contacted > opened > clicked > visited

  • Bounces & Opt-outs

  • Email Distribution

  • LinkedIn Distribution

B. Account Activity shows things like number of prospects, organizations, notes, etc., grouped by criteria like creation date or source.

2. Campaign Performance

The Dashboard tab gives you an overview of how each campaign is performing. It helps you monitor engagement, deliverability, and reply trends across your sequence.

Metrics you’ll find:

  • Prospects Enrolled – Where your contacts came from (Overloop Database, event triggers, import, or LinkedIn Extension).

  • Prospects Contacted – How your outreach performed (reached, bounced, or opted out).

  • Email Status – Engagement details such as opens, clicks, replies, and page visits.

  • Email Replies – Response types categorized as positive, neutral, or negative.

  • LinkedIn Events – For campaigns with LinkedIn steps: profiles viewed, connection requests sent, and message replies received.

Tips & Best Practices

  • Regularly compare different campaigns so that you can see which messaging or timing works best.

  • Use A/B testing and review the results in reports to gain insights and improve future outreach.

  • Use the funnel views (like the visits or replies funnel) to spot where prospects are dropping out (e.g. many open but few click, etc.).

  • Keep an eye on bounce and opt-out metrics — they signal issues with list quality or content.
